The theme of the 2007 festival is "Oceans and Islands". Look out for special themed concerts and workshops featuring music, dance and tales from Islands and Oceans around the globe, including the Solomon Islands, Ireland, the British Isles, Elcho Island (off the coast of the Northern Territory, home of the great Saltwater Band), the Greek islands, Cuba, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands and more ( not forgetting Rottnest!). The whole project will culminate in our spectacular BIG ISLAND JAM featuring a massed pan-pipe, percussion and ukulele orchestra
