  • Details: The Rock Show is a touring theatre show starring Jon English and a cast of eight young multi-instrumentalists playing 60's and 70's rock music. It features the music of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, Elton John, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Queen, many more, and of course Jon English. Mixing theatre and rock and covering two decades of amazing music into two and a half hours, the show has played in many theatres in Australia to sell-out houses. Don't miss it!

  • Event: The Perth International Comedy Festival

  • Details: Bringing laughs to regional WA before the Festival kicks off in Perth in May 2012, the Comedy Suitcase Tour will take a busload of comedians to Albany, Bunbury and Mandurah. Packed full of laughs, chuckles and guffaws, this two and a half hour comedy smorgasbord will have audiences rolling in the aisles. Upon opening the suitcase, audiences will find one Werzel Montague to kick off proceedings, followed by a John Robertson with his charm and ukelele, as well as the outrageous Mike G from the USA. And, just when you thought the suitcase couldn’t possibly hold anything else, internationally-renowned musical trio Tripod have managed to squeeze themselves in to headline the evening, bringing their songs and silliness to the regional stage.

  • Details: Zany, eclectic, unexpected - that's the Stretch Festival in a nutshell!  Mandurah's arts and cultural festival celebrates the community's artistic diversity. Stretch is presented by the City of Mandurah working closely with local artists, schools and organisations. The festival offers a diverse choice of free workshops, exhibitions and performances. Our triennial funding partner is the Mentally Healthy WA program and we are delighted to promote their Act Belong Commit message - a perfect match with the festival agenda, which is to encourage individuals to participate in creative expression and experiences. Key festival venues, such as the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery, 'Festival Square' and the eastern foreshore, are hotbeds of creative activity each year, with projects also held at the libraries, museum and other sites. The program continues to grow each year, building on successes and developing new projects. Typically, Stretch will include some 35 projects presented by 900 community and professional artists.
